This beautifully presented ground floor apartment just yards from the sandy beach and sea has been designed to make a stay here a truly relaxing and enjoyable experience. BT INFINITY INTERNET WITH Wi-Fi. Carefully decorated with bright contemporary modern artwork, Beachcomber enjoys outstanding sea view to the historic St Michaels Mount, Mount's Bay and coastline to Mousehole and beyond. Streams of light flow through patio doors which lead onto a large decked sun terrace with table and chairs, perfect for al fresco dining or just supping that well earned chilled drink whilst watching the varied activities of the windsurfers, dinghies and kite surfers zipping across the water. A leather sofa, 37" TV and Sony CD player and a superb range of books and movies on DVD make the apartment an outstanding choice for a get away at any time of the year. Separate from the bright and airy lounge is a superbly equipped kitchen with lots of little extras to make your stay as comfortable as possible. A large light and airy bedroom with comfortable bedding and beach themed bathroom complete the experience which sees many couples returning year after year. To make your stay as relaxing and stress free as possible, parking has been arranged and paid for in a car park which is about a 200 yard level walk away. - Very Good
Great location 100 yards from the sea, which you can see from the sofa. A couple of level hundred yards into Marazion, which has everything we needed, but might be a bit quiet for some people. Great base for visiting St Michaels mount which you can walk across at low tide. When the tide is in and it is a bit stormy you will wonder how you were ever able to walk across. Beachcomber is very well equipped and has everything you need. Bedlinen, towels, tea towels, washing up liquid, tea and coffee, paper towels were all supplied, so you do not need to bring them yourselves. The only things it did not have, or I failed to find them were a torch and umbrella, but I brought them anyway. Debatable if you need a torch as there is street lighting, but we did prefer to walk back along the front which wasn't, and if you return to the car park after dark a torch would be useful. As to an umbrella when it rained it tended to be windy so probably of little use. The apartment has very good wifi, better than we have at home which was useful, plus Television, DVD and a music system. Kitchen is also well equipped with oven, microwave, fridge, toaster and washing machine. Hot water is always available, although be warned the hot water is really hot. Car parking is about 100 yards away. Not in the main car park which you see when you approach the town, but in a smaller car park 100 yards or so past the apartment. One thing to be aware of the car park is split into two, and it is best to turn into the right hand car park and park as far down as possible as then it is a very easy walk to the apartment down the front. Would definitely stay again as the apartment is so nice and well located, both for Marazion, and for exploring the area. We visited St Ives using the park and train facility, the Scilly isles (Flying from Lands end airport, ferry back to Penzance), the Lizard and Kynance cove, Falmouth and Lands End.
Owner's reply: Thank so much for taking time to write your amazing review of Beachcomber, makes us very happy to hear you enjoyed stay so much. Torch should have been in the apartment in one of the kitchen cupboards a very flowery one perhaps with it being so flowery caught you out. We really appreciate all of your super comments. Thank you look forward to seeing you soon.
Beautiful place plenty to do and lovely places to eat Lands End St Ives and the Minack Theatre are not far away Also Lizard Point and Kynace Cove are worth a visit
Owner's reply: Thank you to taking time to send a review. We are thrilled you enjoyed Beachcomber along with it's super location.
“A Really Lovely Apartment”
We booked this apartment as a last minute break from Holiday Lettings and we certainly weren't disappointed. We were greeted by a welcome bottle of wine, and a sparkling clean apartment. The apartment had great facilities including a dishwasher & washer dryer, a great shower & large bedroom. We were 2 minutes from the beach & 3 minutes from the town centre pubs & restaurants. We will definately be back !
