Renovated in 2008 this property has an extremely high standard of decor through out. Starting with washed solid oak flooring throughout the property

The property has a small garden at the front of the property facing St Michaels mount. This is extremely private and has been recently tiled. It has two longers and a dining table. Leading from the lounge area is a decked area which can accomodate the dining table, weather permitting. the is parking on the main street, however we supply a parking permit for the towns car park.
The property changeover day is normally Saturday, but we can be flexible, bookings permitted, and we offer an extended departure time of 11:30am. In coming guests can check in at 4pm.
The Cornwall region
The West Country area include the marvelous counties of Cornwall, Devon, Dorset and Somerset - enjoys a milder climate than much of England, and consequently Cornwall has long been a popular summer getaway.
Marazion is an ancient Market Town based in the far west of Cornwall.
Activities & amenities are on the doorstep,beautiful coastal walks in both directions, either to St Michael's Mount, Perranuthnoe and Praa Sands or Longrock and into Penzance. Further along is Mousehole, Porthcurno and the Minack Theatre and Land's End and across is Godrevy, Gwithian, Hayle and to Carbis Bay and St. Ives.
The historical old market town of Marazion has all amenities including convenience shop, Post Office, chemist, bakery, take away, cafes, clothes shop, several galleries, a museum, and 3 pubs providing meals, and 2 excellent restaurants, one with amazing views and outside seating.

Stayed for 5 nights and wanted to stay longer. Shame about the weather but to be honest we didn't go for the weather. We went for a break and it definately ticked all the boxes. Stunning location, cottage, 5* service......we couldn't fault anything. Would love to go back again. Extremely friendly owner who knew just how to give you a lovely relaxing break. Can't think of anything negative. If you are looking for a few days, week or two it is the best location. Even with the wet weather we encountered while we were staying at the cottage it was so nice to come back to the house and lay back and enjoy the St Michael Mount View!! Absolately stunning. Lovely location - nothing too far to travel to - couldn't have been better. Hope to go back sometime soon.

"warms the 'cockleshells' of your heart"
A little bit luxury away from home. The sort of place you wish you could call home! A wonderful holiday let that was made even more special by Sue's extra touches from the two course meal on arrival to the cream tea goody bag on departure. Topped off with the overall magic of Cornwall, it was truly unforgettable.

"Light and airy with superb views"
All the comforts of home plus touches of luxury. We were welcomed on arrival with a lovely 3 course meal prepared just ready for us to heat - a real treat after a long day's travel- and farewelled with a scrumptious Cornish cream tea, all courtesy of the kind owners. The cottage has an unusual layout with the living and kitchen areas upstairs. This gives superb views of St Michael's Mount and the seascape. Everything has been thought of in the kitchen. The bedding and linen were of very high quality. We were warm and snug despite some fierce Cornish gales. The cottage is spacious enough for a couple. The only minor issue is the lack of parking - the allocated parking space is a few hundred yards away, and did make it difficult for unloading and re-loading our luggage in the car.

When we first saw the cottage it had a wow factor straight away, stunning views,magnificent property,lovely decor,what more could one want? oh and i forgot to include the lovely meal that was waiting for us along with a bottle of wine. Our best break ever,by far.Every little detail had been thought of. It was a joy to meet the owner Sue who went out of her way to make you feel very welcome and nothing was to much trouble . We hope to return very soon. Left feeling very refreshed in fact we didn't really want to go . But work beckoned.. Chris & Heather
