3 Bed Penthouse apartment with private large roof solarium and wonderful views over Calblanque nature reserve excellent for alfresco dining. On edge of village in quiet location yet only 5 to 10 minutes walk to beach, marina, tennis club, beach bars, restaurants and supermarket. English TV, Wi-Fi, Air Con. Lounge diner leading to balcony for further outside dining fully equipped kitchen, two bathrooms, one with walk in shower. Communal pool with smaller pool for children. Great for families, relaxing, and sports enthusiasts, especially golf, tennis and watersports. The price is fully inclusive of final clean, laundry and towels for apartment use.

Very Relaxing Holiday

Chose this apartment based on location and good reviews and I must say we were not disappointed. Apartment spacious and adequate room for the 4 of us with a large rooftop terrace ideal for crashing out and reading or listening to music as well as the smaller terrace which was great for breakfast or lunch. Apartment very clean and all amenities provide although the TV could do with being a bit bigger as it was hard to watch the football which was on for 2 nights whilst we were there that was a minor point. As it was getting to the end of the season Mar De Cristal was very quite and there was only one restaurant open which was the Italian one which was very good but in the town of Los Belones which is literally 5 minutes drive away there are restaurants to suite everyone from Indian, Chinese, Japanese, Italian, English and of course Spanish and every one offered excellent food and service at reasonable prices. Beach at Mar De Crisal lovely with a great beach bar at the end which did great snacks at lunch time and we had a couple of late evenings there just sitting and looking out at the sea with a beer in our hand. Due to one of our party getting injured a few days before travelling we were unable to get any golf in but on driving around found it is an ideal location for golf with many top courses within 30 minutes drive away. Overall an excellent holiday with both location and accommodation great and we will certainly consider returning again in the future.

We have stayed on 2 occasions at Ribeira Beach and were keen to return. As there were more of us we found this superb apartment with a roof terrace. The apartment was excellent. It was clean and tidy and was perfectly equipped for self catering. The roof terrace was private and offered lovely views. Overall I would say this apartment is ideal for holidays where you want everything accessable. Its only a half hour drive from Murcia airport and there is easy access to beaches and supermarkets. Its also a great location for sports enthusiasts.

Returned from holiday about a week ago , still cannot over the fantastic views we had from both the balcony and the `private` roof terrace. The apartment was clean and very well stocked with all essential utensils ,crockery and glassware you would need !Excellant apartment clean , modern sat tv cooker hob dishwasher , has everything it says on the ad , my only dislike was , because there were only two of us in the apartment , which had three double bedrooms , ther was only two sets of towels available , not a big problem really , we washed them every couple of days in the machine and dried in under two hours in the blistering heat on the roof terrace .If you are lookig for a quiet getaway just to chill and do absolutely nothing this it . The most exciting we saw every day was the local goat herd passing , thats how quiet it is , except the occasional fly past by the Spanish Red Arrows display team , they fly over quite low , so if you are sunbathing on the terrace beware what you are wearing !Overall a splendid apartment to have a realxing holiday < my wife have stayed in Mar De Cristal several times and in this apartment twice , and I must say this is my favourite and has the most stunning views. Whenever some asks me about my holiday I recommend this , hope thsi review helps you in making your decison,go for it its Perfect !

First class holiday spot!

Visited this apartment 3 times and can't fault it. Equipped to a high standard, it's roomy and (most important!) the beds are comfortable. If you really want a suntan there is a secluded sun terrace with good views. Very handy for Murcia airport which is only 13 miles along the coast. Mar De Cristal is a small town that has not been overdeveloped like some Spanish resorts but it has everything you could require within 5 mins of the apartment. Good walking area if you follow the road to the left – and you can finish up, as we did last time, at one of the bars overlooking the lagoon, having a drink in the sunshine. But what we most enjoy about the apartment is waking up on a spring morning and having a leisurely breakfast on the balcony while taking in the stunning views over the fields to the hills of Calblanque nature reserve. (Birdwatchers should note there is a colony of Audoin's gulls down at the Salinas on the shore at Calblanque.) We also enjoy a ride down the La Manga strip to the tip where the Mediterranean meets the Mar Menor – good shoes needed as it can be muddy! The Roman amphitheatre at Cartagena, which is currently being restored, is well worth a visit. To gain access you need to go to the museum near the marina - although you can climb some steep steps and peek over the wall. Boat trips are available from the marina in Cartagena. So, to finish, if you want a good holiday place and an excellent apartment, this is it!

Well equipped kitchen (list available from owner on request) but I am sure you will find all you need as my husband loves to cook.
There are six chairs around the table for enjoying a shared meal. There is a sofa and two chair for relaxing.
All three bedrooms have two single beds, bedside cabinet with light and a double fitted wardrobe. In the wardrobe is a hanging unit which acts like drawers. Clothes hangers are provided.
There is an en-suite bathroom with bath (shower attachment over bath), basin, bidet and toilet.
The main bathroom has a walk in shower, basin and toilet.

“beautiful place to stay”
