How to get there
Airport is STT.
If you at taking a taxi, just ask for Sapphire Beach Resort. If you are driving, best to use GPS to drive to Sapphire Beach. The entrance to Sapphire Beach Resort Condos is off of Emile Milo Francis Memorial road just before Red Hook. Go down the driveway to the guard station.
Stop at the guard station and let them know you are a guests of an owner and ask for a guest parking permit if you are renting a car.
Our unit is in the C building in the center of the five buildings along the beach. Park anywhere you want to in front of the buildings.

Getting around
Transportation Info Car Rentals available at Airport. Search Internet for best deals ($250-$300 wk) Note they drive on LEFT on St Thomas. Cars are std US type. (Actually, it wasn't too hard to get used to, remember "shoulder to the shoulder"). Taxis are plentiful. A taxi stand at the A Building end of the resort. You can also call the VI Taxi Association dispatch number. Rates are set and per person. Tips are expected. Approx rates: $12pp plus $2 bag Airport to Sapphire. $4pp Sapphire to Redhook, $10pp Sapphire to Charlotte Amalie. “Dollar Bus” is an open-air Safari shuttle that goes by on the main road and will stop at the entrance to Sapphire Beach Resort. To Red Hook ($1) and to Charlotte Amalie ($2)
