How to get there
Serenea B&B is located 29km away from the port of Moyogalpa on the Maderas Volcano side of the Island.
We belong to Santa Cruz village. There is an easy road access till the entrance of the property. For the last km, you penetrate inside the UNESCO Biosphere reserve of Volcano Maderas. Vegetation becomes dense making the last 5 minutes very mysterious and tropical.
Serenea is remote but convenient with direct access to hike the Volcano Maderas. It is also centrally located to visit coffee plantations, explore ancient petroglyphs, kayak on the wetlands, horseback ride on the beach, observe wildlife and have a swim at ojo de agua.
