Getting around
The advantage of the location is that a car is not needed. It's easy and quick to walk to the beach and the shopping center which is just 1 km away. If you wish to try one of the many restaurants in town, a taxi will pick you up and take you into Caleta de Fuste for around 4€. This price is the same for a people carrier. If you wish to visit other parts of the island, such as the surf beaches, a car be hired from Caleta or the airport. Transport is available to and from the main attractions, and many of the surf schools offer a pick up service.
