There is a wide range of shops, bars and restaurants in Los Colorades and Rubicon Marina within 20 mins walking distance of the Villa. Playa Dorada beach is 30 mins walk or 5 mins by car. Papagayo beaches are 40 mins walk or 10 mins by car. The town centre of Playa Blanca is 45 mins walk or 5 mins by car. If you do not hire a car taxis are plentiful and relatively inexpensive. Alternatively there are local buses with the nearest bus stops just 3 mins walk from the Villa. If you wish to explore the many attractions of Lanzarote which lie further afield it is best to hire a car. You can take the ferry from Playa Blanca to Corralejo on the neighbouring island of Fuerteventura which takes just 30minutes.
