How to get there
Private taxi service is available by special request with 24-hour pick up from Entebbe International Airport to Kingdom View, Mukono. Several airlines fly into Uganda such as KLM, Ethiopian, Qatar, Emirates, Brussels and Kenya Airlines. Victoria Mall, Entebbe has a great restaurant with safe food for international travelers called Cafe Javas. It is only 10 minutes from Entebbe International Airport and is a good place to rest before your flight or if you are hungry upon arrival and want something to eat. Hours of the mall are 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. but Cafe Javas is open at 6:30 a.m. until midnight. There are several crafts markets within walking distance to the Victoria Mall in Entebbe.
Google Kingdom View Ministry House, Mukono, UG. Access road to Kingdom View Ministry House is by Bishop Kamanyire Hostel Gate. Follow the small road up along the fence. Look for the Kingdom View signs. If you pass Sky Courts Hotel on the main road you have missed the turn off to Bishop Kamanyire Hostel.
Getting around
Airport transfers and other transportation requirements are available by special request for an additional cost. There are small shops in Mukono for basic items and a rustic city market 10-15 minutes from Kingdom View. International shopping is located at Acacia Mall, Lugogo Mall and Shops at Bugolobi which is in Kampala and 45 minutes to 1 hour away depending on traffic by private car. Local shared taxis are available but take from 2-3 hours because of many stops. Not recommended due to safety and theft issues. Motorcycles are generally very unsafe but if you must, call Safe Boda or use the App.
