How to get there
- The location of our home was chosen so downtown, restaurants, bars, shops & all 3 Campuses could be reached via walking. This is a pedestrian & bicycle friendly neighborhood. (it's also skateboard, runner, cyclist & dog friendly).
- Athens has Über.
There is public transportation called TheBus.
There is a taxi service called "Your Cab" also. See Guidebook.
- Directions to Nelson's in Athens from Atlanta: Take 85 North out of Atlanta toward Greenville, and take the JEFFERSON Exit toward Athens, GA. Follow Jefferson Hwy/ Hwy 29 / Atlanta Hwy 15 miles all the way in to Athens and stay on Jefferson Hwy as it becomes Prince Avenue in Athens, just one block from downtown and past the BARBER Street traffic light, take the next left on to CHILDS Street, until it dead ends at our driveway off to the left at 230 Barrow Street, AThens, GEorgia 30601.

Getting around
We have a walkscore of 89! and it is super easy to get around all over by walking or cycling. We also have parking in our driveway for up to 5 cars. Getting around is very easy. We are just one block off Prince Ave/Hwy 29 behind Taqueria Del Sol, the famous Atlanta Taco establishment. "The Bus" runs everywhere from this spot also. You'll find scooters, and neighbors skateboarding, walking and cycling. Lots of room for your 3-5 cars are our place too. And of course Uber runs 24-7 and is around $6-8 bucks anywhere around Athens and campus.
