There are an abundance of forest footpaths and walks directly from the property. St Antony's Well is at the end of the lane in beech woodlands with bluebells in the spring/early summer. The majority of visitor attractions in the Forest of Dean are within 20 mins by car. Our favourites are May Hill & Symonds Yat. Further afield are the towns of Ross on Wye and across the border into Wales, Monmouth. There are a number of bus routes from Mitcheldean to neighbouring towns and villages.
