How to get there
We are a 90-minute drive from San Jose airport, near the larger beach town of Jaco. Buses from the airport arrive to the highway a short walk from the house. From Playa Hermosa, it's a quick 5-minute drive or $6 cab ride to Jaco. South of us, it's 1 hour to Manuel Antonio and Quepos, and 3 hours to Playa Uvita/Dominical.

Getting around
Many guests choose not to rent a car, which is totally feasible. There are shops and restaurants a short walk from the house, right on the beach. For larger grocery runs and a full range of shopping options, we recommend going in to Jaco. It's about $6-7 for a taxi to get there or back. For those who do rent a car, there are many beaches and activities within a 20 minute drive of the house.
