There are 3 ferry routes to Vashon Island: Southworth, Fauntleroy/West Seattle, and Tacoma (Pt. Defiance). Look up Washington State Ferries on line for schedule and rate information. The crossing times are 15-20 minutes. The West Seattle terminal is 20 minutes from Sea-Tac. Vashon is NOT accessible from the the downtown Seattle ferry terminal! Be sure you go to the Fauntleroy dock in West Seattle to get to Vashon.

Bringing a car or bicycle is your best way to get to the island. The property is about a 20 minute drive from the Vashon ferry terminal. Uber and Lyft do NOT operate consistently. Vashon Shuttle Service is a possibility, but requires advanced reservations. Metro Transit's closest bus stop is about 3 miles away.
