How to get there
The apartment is a 40 mins drive from Almeria Airport. We can arrange for a driver to collect you and return from Almeria Airport via our Agent, fee payable to the driver (who will arrange to have the keys and take you up to the apartment). There are Car Hire Companies at Almeria Airport and if you prefer you can collect the keys from our Agents Office (short drive from our apartment) where we would arrange for you to collect (out of hours) from his security collection box. There are local buses. Car Parking is possible in the large car park a few metres from the apartment complex.
However, if required Car hire companies are available at Almeria Airport and in the resort.
Getting around
Bus stop a few mins away to Playa Serena Resort, Almeria Town (approx 25 mins drive) and has the Alcazaba Moorish Castle, The Cathedral, shops, bars and restaurants and there is also a beach front. The Gran Plaza Shopping Mall is just over one and a half miles away and has some shops, boutiques, restaurants and a cinema (reached by bus). There is a Waterpark and Aquarium near the Gran Plaza. A weekly market (except for the last Thursday of the month) and a Sunday market at Vicar. Local Excursion hire company for bookings to Mini Hollywood and fantastic zoo, Mojacar and other great places to visit. Nerja is an hour & half drive - happy to send info if requested.
