To get the best out of your holiday and all the island has to offer, a car is very strongly recommended, in order to visit all the local beaches, splendid countryside and go further afield to the towns of Agia Efimia, Sami, Fiskardo, Assos, Argostoli to name but a few- no visit to Kefalonia is complete without visiting these places! Should our guests need to hire a car while on the island, we recommend contacting the hire companies early as the summer season can be very busy and availability limited. As well as the large multinationals such as Hertz and Avis, there are a number of reputable local companies who offer a good service and will bring your car directly to the airport. We will give our guests further information if needed.
