How to get there
Leave your car on the mainland (Woods Hole, MA) and take a short walk from the Oak Bluffs Ferry terminal to the cottage OR schedule your auto ferry reservation on the Steamship Authority website and enjoy the on-site shady tandem parking for 2 cars.
Getting around
1. Bus. The Vineyard Transit Authority bus system operates year-round to all the island towns – Edgartown, Oak Bluffs, Vineyard Haven, Aquinnah, Chilmark, and West Tisbury. 2. Bikes. Martha's Vineyard has miles of bike paths and bike lanes. Bicylce rentals and Moped rentals are close by. 3. Taxis and rental cars. Uber is also available on the Island. 4. Take a Bus Tour of the island. 5. Car. Of course if you have your own car you can explore the entire 100+ square miles at your leisure.
