How to get there
I will send you all the details as soon as you book the flat.
The flat is 5 minutes walk from Belem Botanical Garden, 30 minutes distance by Uber or taxi from the airport.
If you want to use public transports from the airport, get the metro to Cais Sodré and then get the train to Belem.
Important: if you are a group of 3 or more guests, a taxi is the best option since the price of the trip is something between 14 and 18 euros, depending if it is day or night.
Taxi vans are more expensive, if you are less than 5 people, avoid getting one. Always make sure the taximeter is on. If for any reason you are charged over 20 euros, write the plaque of the taxi on a paper, and ask for a receipt with the price you have paid, the car's license and the departing and arriving point. You can also call me to pay the taxi driver and make sure ou are not being scammed. I do this on a regular basis and it always works fine.

Getting around
Only 8 min. by train from Cais do Sodré, 18 minutes from Carcavelos beach and 30 from Cascais beaches. To get to Cais do Sodré, a bohemian quarter, you can choose between the train (8 minutes), the tram number 15 (20 minutes) or the bus 728 (20-25 minutes). You can also make a short boat trip from Belem to Trafaria (15 minutes) and then get a direct bus from Trafaria to São João beach (15 minutes). You can rent a bike in Belem to explore the riverside and you can also get to Cais do Sodré by bike. You can put bikes in the train.
