Nearest airport Bordeaux International, one hour drive.
Several flights daily from UK with British Airways, Air France, Easyjet, Ryanair.
Nearest train station Montendre, just 15 minutes drive - we can arrange pick up/taxi on request. Montendre has trains from Bordeaux in the south and La Rochelle in the north.
Bordeaux train station (one hour drive) has non stop TGV from Paris in two hours.
Angoulême train station is one hour drive from the north with TGV from Paris.
Eurostar and TGV from London to Bordeaux/Angoulême in just five hours!

Getting around
It’s easy to explore the area on paths and tracks on foot, bicycle or on horseback (please enquire about bringing your horse or pony with you). To go further afield you will need a car, although there are bus and train services from Jonzac and Montendre to Bordeaux, Cognac, La Rochelle and Royan on the coast.
