How to get there
The cottage is easy to find being on the main valley road. The postcode is DL13 1QJ. There is parking in the lay by opposite or in School Close which is behind the cottage. It is possible to get to the cottage by public transport via a train to Durham or Bishop Auckland then a bus to Stanhope.
Getting around
There is an excellent rural bus service which runs to Stanhope. It is possible to get a bus from there to Bishop Auckland and rail connections. A car is the best way to get around.
