Take main road north from Ullapool. After about 15 minutes, turn left towards Achiltibuie. This is a very windy, single track road. After about 20 minutes, you reach a T junction, left being towards Achiltibuie and right being towards Reiff. The longer but more scenic route is turning right towards Reiff and then left when you reach the coast road at Althandu. Alternatively you turn left towards Achiltibuie and then right when you reach the coast. Mullagrach (a long white bungalow with a fuschia hedge) is at the Althandu end of Polbain. If coming from Achiltibuie, it’s 7 houses after Polbain Stores (unfortunately closed down). If coming from Altandhu, it’s 3 houses after 192. The sign on the gate says Mullagrach.
