If you prefer the Oura beach and the famous “Strip”, please go back to the entrance of Quinta da Balaia, and go left at the roundabout with the cement ornaments. You will then see the signs for “Oura” on the next large roundabout. To get to the Old Town, follow that same road and continue straight ahead at the large roundabout. You will then see signs for “centro antigo” . There is a local bus called “Giro” that takes you around Albufeira. The nearest stop is just outside the Quinta da Balaia entrance. Across the roundabout you will see a sign / stop point for “Giro” bus. It´s an all year round service and the frequency is approximately every 45 minutes. Taxis can be contacted too (numbers will be displayed in the villa for you).
