How to get there
From the North:
Leave the M6 at Junction 42 and take the exit signposted Penrith/A6
Follow the A6 for approximately 14 miles until you reach the village of Plumpton
In the middle of the village is a road on your left signed to Lazonby
Follow the road into Lazonby Village
Drive under the railway bridge and past the Church on your left
Turn left directly after the Church – signed Auction Mart, Baronwood
After passing the Auction Mart take the first left (sharp corner)
Drive for approximately half a mile until you reach the farm. Keep your eye open for a slate sign marked ‘Garthfolds Farm’. Turn left (very tight turn) into the farmyard.
From the South:
Leave the M6 at Junction 41 and take the 4th exit signposted Penrith (travelling East)

Getting around
There is a good bus and rail link from the village. The Carlisle/Settle railway runs through the village and you can often see steam trains thundering down the track.
