TRANSPORTATION:

With so much to do and such a beautiful condo resort, you can literally just stay on Sapphire Beach for your entire stay and just zip over by taxi or safari buses to Redhook and other nearby venues/restaurants/shops--and never need to have a car.

For those who prefer to go longer distances to fully explore the island and go downtown or to Frenchtown, we recommend you rent a car, so you get back and forth on your own timing and on a set budget. But remember, in St Thomas they drive on the left!

- Rental Car: Avis, Budget, and Hertz have offices directly at the airport making it super easy to pick-up and drop-off your vehicle While the rental cars that are a few minutes away from the airport are typically less expensive, you will need to take a taxi to get to there. We recommend that you do your own rental search for what's best for your budget.

You can also take a taxi cab to any destination from the airport, which are located right outside baggage claim.

- Taxis by the condo: There are taxis outside all day long in front of the Beach Bar/Restaurant next to our condo. You can also call East End Taxi which is closest to our condo and can be there in a matter of minutes.
