How to get there
Many guests prefer to drive down (no restriction on your wine)
Visitors often use the Chunnel and if they are coming from northern England make an overnight stop perhaps near Rouen although many of our friends drive down in a day.
Portsmouth to St Malo is a delightful lovernight crossing. St Malo is about six hours to our property. Portsmouth to Caen is ok the journey from Caen is about an hour longer. Cruise down to Sans Sebastian as part of your holiday, it is our nearest port about a four hour drive.
Flying to Bergerac a small airport, is a good option as many U.K. local airports use it.
Toulouse Airport is conveniently close to the ring road and the motorway westwards towards us, however do remember Toulouse is a large modern city.
Both of these airports are approximately an hour and a quarter/ hour and a half from us.

Our little hamlet of Gayraud (some times spelt Gairaud) is a five minute drive from the local supermarket in Lauzerte and approximately the same distance from our nearest market in Montaigu-de-Quercy, where there is also an excellent lake with a beach , cafe, water sports etc. Cahors to the north and Agen to the south are both forty five minutes away and are well worth a visit.
