How to get there
Daisy Lodge in Stratford upon Avon is just 40 mins drive from Birmingham airport, 10 mins drive from Stratford railway station or within easy access from the M40. There is also a bus service from the centre of Stratford to the entrance of Avon Park.
From the M40
Leave the M40 motorway at Junction 15.
From the motorway slip road join the roundabout taking the turning for Stratford.
Follow the A46 for approximately 1.5 miles.
Take the 1st left at the next roundabout – signed for Stratford town centre.
Proceed along the A439 passing Wyevale Garden centre on the left,
Continue until you see The Welcombe Golf Club on the right. Almost immediately you will see a blue and white sign saying ‘Avon Park’ on the left. If you go past the Welcombe Hotel on the right you have gone too far.

Getting around
For an enchanting way to visit Stratford take the river taxi from near the lodge into the heart of Stratford, available from April 1st. There is a regular X17 bus service into Stratford from the entrance to Avon Park, a two minute ride for £2.50. Sadly you cannot walk the whole way from the lodge into Stratford along the towpath but if you drive 1/2 mile there is a car park and from here you can walk into Stratford or you can walk the whole way from Tiddington. If you need a taxi after the theatre it will cost less than £10 to get back to the lodge. Stratford is central to many places of interest which can be reached easily by road - Cheltenham, Warwick, Cadbury's World, Warwick Castle, Anne Hathaway's Cottage, Arden Farm and much more.
