How to get there
Driving from England, we are 2.5 hours south of Paris taking the A10, then A71, then A23, 1.5 hours south of Orlean & 15 minutes past Chateureaux.
The nearest airport is an hour away at Limoges (80 kms) straight along the A23. From Limoges take the A23 to Argenton-Sur-Creuse (junction 17) and drive into the centre ville, taking a left at the main square onto the D48 - Cafe De La Place is on the corner.

Getting around
Within 5 kms there is quite a lot to see & we have 4 cycles to use - the sports facilities, supermarket, the town of Argenton has quite a few roman ruins, local markets & restaurants. The river is just 500 mtrs away as is, the local chateaux, open fields and the various tracks. You can get a train via Paris which goes direct to Chateauroux & a 15 min train from there to Argenton Sur Creuse Although there is a rail station in Argenton, the property is about 3 kms from there so if you are happy with getting a taxi there & then cycling to the local amenities, otherwise a car is recommended to see the other sites.
