How to get there
In vehicle! Beware, the path is not paved. This is a "white road" as there are many in the region. Our house is located on a hill in front of Toiano. It is part of Borgo Le Ripe with two other houses. From the North (Genova), exit the highway at North PISA and take the FI-PI-LI (Florence-Pisa-Livorno) until the second exit of Pontedera. At the roundabout, take the SP11 towards Castelfalfi / Montaione via Forcoli. After twenty minutes, take the dirt road on your left towards Sughera, then left again after the first farm. The private path leads to the top of the hill to Podere Le Ripe.

Getting around
The car is necessary. You can rent one at the airport of Pisa or Florence. However, there is a good train network between major cities in the region, which is handy for visiting Florence or Siena! Cars can be parked in the vicinity of the stations for the day (cheap parking).
