How to get there
You will need a car to get here. Charlevoix is about 50 miles from Traverse City, and about 50 miles southwest of Mackinac Island. The Mushroom Houses are very distinctive and located very close to the Lake Michigan Beach (just look up behind those gorgeous trees!). There is a driveway and parking for The Chalet off of Clinton St which intersects Park.

Getting around
The Chalet provides a location both close to the beach and town. You can park your car at the house and walk just about everywhere. Touring outside of Charlevoix will require a car.
