How to get there
When you get off the ferry, take a right on the main single track road, follow the main road . You will pass two lochs one on each side of the road. Carry on till you reach a fork in the road. take the right fork and continue . You will pass the lovely Kiloran Bay, stay on the main road and carry on right to the end of the road..As you come to the top of a small decline in the road you will see Crumble Cottage in front of you at the bottom of the hill.To go anywhere on the island, just reverse this route.
Getting around
The single lane road takes you all around the island. The main road is suitable for bicycles, but there are parts that care needs to be taken due to the road surface. Walking to many of the beauty spots is highly recommended. Please note there is no public transport on the island.
