How to get there
If you do not have a car we can arrange a transfer from the port/airport that you will pay directly to the driver. If you like, we can arrange for you (with charge) tours of Palermo with a tourist guide or simply, if you do not have a car and you would prefer not to take the bus to Palermo, a car transfer to the town center.

Getting around
A supermarket is 5-minutes by foot from the apartment. The beautiful sandy beach is about 450 meters from the apartment (6 minute walk). If you prefer the rocks, in about 15 minutes walk you can reach the nature reserve of Capo Gallo. In Palermo you can visit the Cathedral, the Royal Palace with its splendid palatine chapel, the old town, the Politeama Square, the city center and the beautiful Teatro Massimo. Not far from the city, the wonderful cathedral of Monreale. From Mondello you can reach for a day-trip: The Valley of the Temples in Agrigento (2 hours and 30 car), the archaeological of Segesta or Selinunte (1 hour and 30), the beautiful salt pans of Trapani (1 hour and 30) with the island of Mozia or the town of Cefalù (1h and 45).
