How to get there
Travel on the island is by 4WD vehicles only.
You will need to either travel to the island via Tangalooma Resort's passenger ferry, bookings on their website, or via the barge which takes 4WD vehicles, again, bookings on their website, (Hawkins Transport or Micat).
If you come on the ferry, the Resort staff will transport your luggage from the ferry to the house, or to a luggage drop-off point near the house.
If you come with your own 4WD we will send you instructions on how to drive to the house.

Getting around
The island is a national park and has no made roads, so you need a 4WD to get around the island, either by driving on the beaches, or on a number of sand tracks that criss-cross the island. Tangalooma Resort has a number of tours that guests can book on if they don't bring their own vehicle to the island, and guests can take part in almost all Resort activities, some of which are fee based.
