How to get there
Airports at Lyons, Avignon and Nimes....all about a two and a quarter hour drive away. Detailed directions and advice on routes can be made available.
Eurostar from London St Pancras to either Paris or Lille to connect with a TGV direct to Valence TGV station. This is about one hour and fifteen minutes drive from the house.
Car hire is available at Valence TGV station and detailed directions to the village and the house can be made available on request.
A vehicle is essential since the village is 14 kms from the nearest town.
Parking spaces are available opposite the school, just down the road from the house or visitors can park safely and off road on the top terrace behind the house.

Getting around
The best way to get around is by car, since local transport stops at St Sauveur de Montagut, about 14 kms from the village. A number of buses each day pass through St Sauveur going north to Le Cheylard and south to Valence. Trains from Valence go north to Lyons and south to Avignon .45 minutes to drive to Valence train station. There is supermarket shopping and fuel at Carrefour in St Sauveur where there is also a CA bank and cash machine. St Sauveur has a great market on a Saturday morning with fine cheese and olive stalls. St Pierreville has its own market on a Sunday morning often with live music in the square during Summer. St Pierreville has its own shop, butcher and bakery, so there is no need to get in the car unless you want to.
