How to get there
You can fly into various airports. The closest is Ballina, then Gold Coast, then Brisbane. It's a good idea to rent a car prior to your arrival. We do recommend this as Byron and hinterland is spread out and there is much worth exploring.
Getting around
Sightseeing, surfing and visiting the hinterland around Byron is best done by car. Plenty of taxis and mini buses available.
