Getting around
The building is situated in the so called “commercial triangle”, the old commerce area of Athens, marked by the three squares that define it: Syntagma, Monastiraki and Omonia square. Strolling around the area, you’ll find an enormous variety of specialized shops where one can buy from buttons and door locks to Locally Produced Cheese Shops and second hand clothes. Athens’ central Meat Market (Varvakios) is also near by, so as Ermou street, the major pedestrian shopping axis. Along come the bars and cafes of the area, located in small streets or around squares, like the talk-of-the-town Saint Irene Square (2 min walk from the studio) as well as new alternative entries, hidden inside the many arcades of downtown Athens.
