Directions for Croyde:

Leave the M5 at junction 27 and take the A361 North Devon Link road through to Barnstaple. Follow the A361 signs towards Ilfracombe as far as Braunton (about 5 miles). Turn left at the traffic lights, signposted Saunton and Croyde (this is contrary to most SatNav instructions, but is the best route).

Cottage directions:

On reaching Croyde, drive into the center of the village passing the Thatched Barn Inn, follow the road sharp right at The Stores and Croyde Post Office on your left, after 25 yards turn left immediately up a narrow lane by May Cottage Tearooms. Manor Cottage is on the right is at the end of a private The lane is narrow in one place, but wide enough for a ford transit van.
