How to get there
Sandbanks is an excellent place to base yourself for 2012 Olympics at Weymouth. Weymouth is less than an hour away by road and is also accessible by sea with many boat charter operators locally available.
Sandbanks has excellent connections by Road, Rail, Ferry and Air.
From London: M3 Southbound, then M27, A31, A338 leading to Bournemouth Bypass Road Wessex Way, at Liverpool Victoria "LV" Roundabout follow the Beach signs and Sandcastles painted on the Roads. At Sandbanks follow the signs for the Sandbanks ferry. Go past the main beach car park on you left onto one way road and take 1st right at brow of hill. Your are there!
