From Funchal Airport, follow motorway to Ribeira Brava roundabout. Turn right toward Ponta do Sol and go through tunnel.

Approaching Ponta do Sol roundabout, go through tunnel toward Madalenado Mar.

At roundabout at tunnel's end, turn right toward Calheta on the coast road.

At road's end, turn left toward Calheta. Proceed through two tunnels to roundabout and continue toward Arco da Calheta
