Getting to Rock is easy. The A30 and A39 (which run down the backbone of Cornwall) are only a few miles away before you turn onto the country roads for the short journey to Rock. Bodmin station is 25 minutes away, with direct high-speed trains to London and beyond.

Newquay Airport is a 30 minute drive, which allows rapid and trouble-free access to the air network. There are lots of taxis at the airport, which do not need to be booked in advance.

Seamist is walking distance to the beach. There are stunning beaches in Rock and the surrounding area which can all be reached by foot and Padstow is a 10 minute ferry ride from Rock beach.

Seamist is 5 minutes walk to local shops. Rock and Padstow have some excellent restaurants and pubs including Rick Stein's Seafood Restaurant, The Dining Room ( 2 mins walk from Seamist) and Nathan Outlaw's Seafood Restaurant, winner of 2 Michelin stars and voted 'Best Seafood Restaurant in the UK, located at the St Enodoc Hotel.

Local places of interest include Lanhydrock, the hugely popular National Trust House (2nd most visited National Trust House in the UK), Pencarrow and the Lost Gardens of Heligan, rated as the Nation's favourite garden. Not to be missed is The Eden Project, referred to as the 8th wonder of the world. Visit the Minack Theatre in Porthcurno in the Summer and enjoy superb productions under the stars. Golf: Seamist is walking distance to the renowned St Enodoc Golf Club, with it's famous links course which has enjoyed Royal patronage for many years. Founded in 1890, St Enodoc has 2 courses; the beautiful Championship Church Course and the smaller Holywell Course onto which Seamist backs. Seamist is also a 10 minute drive from the Roserrow Country Golf Club and a 40 minutes drive from Trevose Golf Club with its three links courses.
