How to get there

If you're coming from the direction of Canterbury, take the A257 passing through the villages of Littlebourne and Wingham. Carry on for about 2 miles, past the Frog and Orange pub. Take the second left, signed to Ware and Westmarsh (Knell Lane). If you're travelling from the direction of London, you can bypass Canterbury by staying on the A2 past the Canterbury turn-off. Take the next exit, signed for Bekesbourne and Howletts Zoo. At the top of the slip road, turn left towards Bekesbourne. Drive through Bekesbourne and past the Zoo entrance on your left until you get to Littlebourne, where you can turn right onto the A257, and follow the directions above to Knell Lane. If you're coming from Dover or the Isle of Thanet on the A256, turn onto the A257 towards Canterbury/Ash and take the fifth turning on the right (Knell Lane) after about 2 miles. ... once you reach Knell Lane: Follow the lane for about a mile until you reach a give way sign (road to the right has right of way). Carry on over, and follow Ware lane around to the left, passing a house on your right. You will pass another house and an orchard on your right. Corner Drove is on the right hand side off Ware Lane, at the end of the orchard. You will see the large Hawthorn Farm sign in front of the hawthorn hedge. Turn right onto Corner Drove (it's a farm track, so please drive very slowly) the farm entrance is a few metres on the left hand side. Look out for Oscar, our friendly Gate Keeper!
