How to get there
Airport & Public Transport
The Malta International Airport (MIA) is Malta’s sole airport. It is found in Luqa that is more or less a 45 minute drive away from Mellieha. Directions from Airport to our Village of Mellieha are found below if one prefers to travel by car, however a new bus route which leaves from the Airport and drives up all the way to Mellieha is now available. Getting around
inute drive away from Mellieha, and is famous for the Mosta Dome, the 3rd laSome towns within the vicinity of Mellieha are Bugibba and Mgarr. Whilst in Mosta, one can enjoy some shopping or grab a bite at one of the many cafes. A 30 minute drive from Mellieha, the sea-side towns of Sliema and St. Julian’s boast a varied choice of bars and al fresco dining restaurants along the promenade. Sliema is also Malta’s main shopping hub, while St. Julian’s is popular .traditional rabbit dish known as a “fenkata”. These are roughly a 15 minute drive away.
