How to get there
Villa Zinha is located in a beautiful small town called Luz (Praia da Luz). Most of our guests rent a car at the airport (Faro or Lisbon) and drive to the property. The drive from Faro Airport on one of the best highway in Europe (A22) takes 1 hour (90 km). From Lisbon the distance is 300 km which is about a 3 hour drive. Before arrival we will provide our guest with the necessary information how to get to the Villa. Guests can drive into the property and park the car right in front of the Villa (closed area). Alternatively guests can also be picked up by a private transport at the airport and rent the car in Luz on specific dates. It is advisable to do a car reservation earliest possible (especially in high season). Please ask the owner for further information.

Getting around
Luz is quiet and peaceful, but it is only 5km to the major city of Lagos with its extensive shopping, historic centre and buzzing nightlife. Praia da Luz is a great destination for families with young children, in part due to the calm nature of the town and safe beach, which is supervised during the summer. As part of a touring holiday, Luz can be a calmer base from which to explore the western side of the Algarve. There are good public transport links to the historic city of Lagos, while there are sufficient bus services to explore westwards, towards Sagres.
