How to get there
The nearest airport is Newquay which is 35 minutes drive away. However there are limited flights to Newquay, Exeter is 1.5 hours drive away, Bristol is 2.5 hours away and we are approximately 4 hours from Heathrow.
Liskeard is the nearest station, a 15 minute drive away, or you can book a taxi to pick you up.
If you wish to get out and about a lot during your stay, it is advisable to bring a car, or they can be rented from Liskeard.

Getting around
It is definitely advisable to bring a car with you, we are located in a rural area with the nearest villages being about 15 minutes drive away. There are wonderful places to explore nearby from the Eden Project to local beaches, National Trust properties or surfing on the golden north coast sandy beaches. If you wish to hole up for your stay, step out across the 300 acres of fields and woodland at Botelet and enjoy panoramic views from the top of Bury Down hill fort then a car is not essential, but it is certainly helpful for getting around and picking up groceries.
