How to get there
There are a few different ways to come see us!
*You can fly from San Jose to Drake Bay via Sansa or Nature Air (small airlines with domestic flights)
*You can take the tracopa bus to Palmar Norte and then taxi to Sierpe where you can catch a boat to Drake Bay (there is one direct bus to Sierpe, however it arrives too late to catch a boat on the same day, so you must spend the night)
*You can drive all the way to La Joyita, a 4x4 vehicle is definitely recommended although not completely necessary (driving to La Joyita is not recommended during the rainiest months of Sept/Oct/Nov)

Getting around
If you come without a vehicle, everything is within walking distance (20ish minutes to town), and if you would prefer, taxis can be arranged. It costs about $10 each way to the village of Drake Bay. Most tours include transportation from and returning to La Joyita!
