The best way to see the town is to walk everywhere. The marina is about 15 mins walk and has a market every Wednesday and Saturday mornings or its about 5 euro in a tax. The main rank in the town is just off the roundabout in the the centre, about 2 minutes walk away. 3 Beaches in the town. 2, 10 and 20 minutes away on foot. Bars and restaurants are generally on the sea-front but there are others on the side streets worth checking out. Prices tend to be around the same in most but they should all have a menu outside with same. Bus number 161 leaves from the airport every 30-60 mins and goes through Puerto Del Carmen and on to Playa Blanca. This takes about 50-55 mins and the price ( at writing ) was 3.30 euro/one-way. Kids are cheaper.
