How to get there
Mayfield is about 10 miles south of Tunbridge Wells just off the A267. Gatwick is approx 45 minutes drive away, Heathrow about 90 minutes and Stansted about 2 hours. The main M25 orbital motorway is approx 30 minutes away. Ashford International Rail Terminal and the Channel Tunnel are 60 minutes away. Getting around
We are in rural East Sussex and public transport is limited. There is a bus from the village to Tunbridge Wells once an hour (sic!) and the nearest train station (Crowborough) is 7 miles away. For these reasons we thoroughly recommend coming with your own transport. There are cycle routes but many of them are hilly. Public footpaths for dog walks etc. are excellent.
