HOW TO GET TO VILLA IL CARDINALE

Via di Villa Gaia 777, Massa Pisana - LUCCA

1) BY CAR

1. From Pisa Airport:

◦ Drive into the highway passing by the airport; drive West and North, following the green road signs (indicating motorways) to GENOVA / PISA NORD

◦ As you approach Pisa Nord on the motorway, follow the sign to FIRENZE (A11).

◦ When on the motorway A11, exit at LUCCA EST.

◦ After the toll station you need to drive in a loop that may seem confusing; however, follow the blue road sign to PISA (see picture below).

◦ After about 4 km from the toll station you pass Hotel La Principessa and Hotel Villa Cheli on you right hand side.

◦ Right after Villa Cheli, on the right hand side, you will see a small dirt road. This road is in front of Bar La Perla.

◦ Take this road and drive it to the end – about 777 mt. - and you will end up in front of the gate of Villa Il Cardinale!

◦ (While driving on the dirt road, always keep left after passing the B&B Casa Gaia).

2. From Florence Airport:

◦ Drive out of the Airport Parking lot onto the motorway A11 towards PISA.

◦ Exit at LUCCA EST, some 70 km from the airport

◦ After the toll station you need to drive in a loop that may seem confusing; however, follow the blue road sign to PISA.

◦ After about 4 km from the toll station you pass Hotel La Principessa and Hotel Villa Cheli on you right hand side.

◦ Right after Villa Cheli, on the right hand side, you will see a small dirt road. This road is in front of Bar La Perla.

◦ Take this road and drive it to the end – about 777 mt. - and you will end up in front of the gate of Villa Il Cardinale!

◦ (While driving on the dirt road, always keep left after passing the B&B Casa Gaia)

2) BY TRAIN / TAXI

1. Once at the railway station, take the train to Lucca

2. Once you are at the train station of Lucca, the best way to get to Villa Il Cardinale is by taxi.

3. Ask the driver to take you to «Villa Il Cardinale» in Via di Villa Gaia 777. If the driver does not find the address, make sure to mention it is after Villa Cheli and in front of Bar La Perla at Massa Pisana.
