From the airport or from Negombo Beach, take Poruthota Road/The Beach Road north
2. Directly after the big mosque/Palahathurai Jumuah Masjid, make a left.
3. At the T-junction, make a right
4. Cross the bridge over the Dutch Canal
5. After the bridge, Waterland will be on your left

Getting around
We have 6 bicycles on site that are free for guests to use. We have identified 2 bicycle routes (a short route and a longer route). A handout with the bike routes is located next to the reception desk. We have maps showing the location of Waterland by the reception desk and there are signs with directions to Waterland around Negombo. The front desk staff can arrange local transportation by air-conditioned car, air-conditioned van, or by 3-wheeler/tuk-tuk for you. The prices are posted on a board next to the reception desk. The prices are very inexpensive by western standards, but are a bit higher than what others sometimes charged. We trust the drivers we work with and the prices ensure them a decent wage.
