Malaga airport just West of Malaga is a substantial airport with flights from many major European cities including many UK airports (note some routes will be seasonal). As Elviria is to the (East) Malaga side of Marbella, access from Malaga airport is straightforward and inexpensive.

From Malaga airport you have the choice of car hire or taxi for those who prefer not to hire a car for all or part of their holiday. The travel time will be about 45 minutes and around 55-60+ Euros if you take a taxi. There are more affordable options by using shared rides.

Gibraltar airport is an alternative, but is quite a bit further away.

Spain's efficient high speed rail network is also an option, by taking a train from another point you have stopped off at to Malaga train station. Transferring from there is similar to doing so from the airport (we did that in February 2016,)
