How to get there
Ferries sail from Ullapool to Stornoway directly or to Tarbert in Harris from Skye by Caledonian MacBrayne Ferries as well as a ferry from Berneray in North Uist to Leverburgh in Harris which has four return sailings during the summer season
Flights to Stornoway from Glasgow, Edinburgh, Inverness, and Aberdeen by Flybe and Eastern Airways.
The cottage has off street parking for several cars.
To get tothe cottage turn left out of Tarbert and stay on that road for roughly sixteen miles passing Northton on the right hand side. As you come to Leverburgh Berneray Cottage is the tenth house on the right hand side of the road with a sign on the gate - Berneray Cottage, Self Catering.

Getting around
The most convenient way to travel around the island to see the sights are by car. Local buses provide a service to and from Stornoway on a daily basis. To visit St Kilda a cabin cruiser leaves Leverburgh Pier every morning and returns at 7pm. A daily car ferry service operates between Leverburgh and Berneray in North Uist.
