BUS: You can take the bus from San Jose directly into San Vito. It is a 6 hour ride and is around $13

FLY: Fly into Golfito and rent a car or cab it to the house. It will take 1 hour 15 minutes

DRIVE: Will take around 5.5 hours from Central San Jose. If you take the nicer coast road through Jaco, Manual Antonio, Dominical and Uvita, it will take about 6.5 hours but is a nicer ride. First timer? Don't drive all the way from San Jose unless you have stops planned along the way or make it a 2 day ride. The fun is over in about 30 minutes.
