How to get there
The nearest airport is Bournemouth (30 mins).
The nearest train stations are either Bournemouth (35 mins) or Salisbury (20 mins).
Bus is fairly easy. There is the X3 service (Salisbury to Bournemouth, via Ringwood). This is a half hourly service. The bus stops just a few minutes' away from Burgate Farmhouse.
There is plenty of parking at Burgate Farmhouse.
Driving directions:
Exit M27 (Junction 1) signposted New Forest/Lyndhurst/Cadnam. At the roundabout take the 3rd exit (B3078) to Fordingbridge. In Fordingbridge, go right at the mini-roundabout towards Salisbury. You will filter left onto the A338 at the north end of Fordingbridge. On your left you will pass Burgate School & Fordingbridge Day Nursery.

Getting around
A car is the best method of transport. Bus is fairly easy as the X3 bus service has a bus stop within a 2 minute walk from Burgate Farmhouse. There is an open top 'hop on hop off' bus service which travels around the New Forest & operates from Jul to early Sept each year. Cycling is also a good means of travelling around.
